Strong nor’easter to affect Eastern U.S. next week

Starting on Sunday, an area of low pressure will move out of the lower Midwest and into the Southeast, causing all types of severe weather. The storm will slowly move into the Mid-Atlantic states, gradually deepening through Monday. Coastal flooding is a concern, to no surprise of coastal New Jersey residents who suffered through last January’s blizzard. There isn’t much cold air to support snow from this storm, although recent model runs have hinted at more snow in interior Northeast areas than previously thought. It will be a complex system, so let’s break it down.
